I prefer working with Ancestry’s vertical tree view while doing my family history research, especially when taking screenshots to share with family and clients. Sometimes I do not want siblings to automatically appear when expanding generations in my tree, so I created a tool which automatically hides all siblings as soon as they appear. This tool can be toggled on and off directly from the family tree interface depending on your preference.
When you activate Auto-Hide Siblings in Family Tree, a button is added to the top right corner of all family trees which allows you to select whether siblings are automatically shown or hidden when expanding generations in your family tree.
Auto-Hide Siblings in Family Tree is available in Genea Research Tools for Google Chrome, it can be installed in one click from the Chrome Web Store: Click here to install Genea Research Tools from the Chrome Web Store
