When you review a hint on Ancestry, the Add people step asks you to tick every family member attached to the record one at a time before saving. For a long family list that’s a lot of clicks. Add Select All People Link to Hints adds a single button that ticks every person in the hint sidebar at once.
How does Add Select All People Link to Hints work?
When you reach Step 3 Add people while reviewing an Ancestry hint, a new Select all people button appears at the top of the hints sidebar. Clicking it ticks every person checkbox in the sidebar in a single action and changes the button to Deselect all people so you can clear everything again. The button is added as soon as the Add people step loads and is removed automatically when you move away.
How do I use Add Select All People Link to Hints?
- Ensure Add Select All People Link to Hints is enabled in the Genealogy Assistant pop-up panel.
- Open a hint on any Ancestry profile and work through to Step 3 Add people.
- Click Select all people at the top of the hints sidebar to tick every person. Click it again to clear them.
