Step-by-Step Guide to Upgrading Your Plan

1. Access the Genealogy Assistant Interface
   Open Google Chrome and click the Genealogy Assistant icon in the toolbar to open the extension’s interface.
2. Locate the Upgrade Button
   Scroll to the bottom of the Genealogy Assistant panel. You’ll see a green Upgrade button. Click this button to begin the process of subscribing to a paid plan.
3. Choose a Subscription Plan
   On the upgrade page, you’ll be presented with two subscription options:
   • Monthly Plan: $1.99 per month.
   • Lifetime Plan: $23.88 one-time payment.
     Select the plan that best suits your needs by clicking on your preferred option.
4. Enter Payment Information
   After selecting a plan, you’ll be redirected to a secure payment page powered by Stripe, one of the world’s largest and most trusted payment processors.
   • Enter your payment details, including your credit or debit card information.
   • Double-check the information for accuracy before proceeding.
5. Confirm Your Subscription
   Once your payment information is entered, click the blue Subscribe button at the bottom of the page. After processing your payment, you’ll receive confirmation that your subscription is active.
6. Verify Your Plan
   You’ll be redirected to the Genealogy Assistant dashboard, where you can see the details of your subscription plan, including:
   • The plan type (Monthly or Annual).
   • The next renewal date.

7. Check Your Account Status
   Open the Genealogy Assistant panel in the Chrome toolbar. Scroll to the bottom, and you’ll now see that your account status shows you are a Premium User.
