Unlike the Chrome, Firefox, and Edge versions, it comes as a small Mac app that you download and install yourself. The app adds the extension to Safari and keeps it up to date.
Genealogy Assistant is customizable to your own unique preferences, and things like downloads can be optimized to work with your system and setup. Click the “Edit advanced settings” button at the bottom of the Genealogy Assistant popup panel to configure the extension.
Set the minimum cM threshold for highlighting your DNA matches. Matches above this value are highlighted in red so you can quickly spot significant connections.
